Partiallyhere on Deviantart

Creepy. My first thought. But i've never seen such pictures anywhere before. Just because of that, the photographer has this unique style and just by looking at these pictures, you would know that all of these are taken from the same person.

And distinct style are an important factor to a photographer right?
Just don't look at them when the lights are off, it might just freak you out.

A series of portrait shots. The dark lighting makes it looks mysterious. Adding on, the edits of these pictures are sleek, simple and clean. With just a plain background, nothing too confusing.

The pictures inside only used to about three to four colors in each pictures, As the saying goes, we can find beauty even in the most simple objects. This is what i observe from these series of artwork.

And as i've noticed, this photographer likes to take pictures of models without their top on. My take is they he doesn't want the pictures to look complicated and shooting the models without their clothes on

Peaceful. Soothing. How beautiful nature is? I would love to go to these places to unwind. Singapore is such a stressful country. And looking at these pictures really makes me have this urge to backpack travel to these awesome and beautiful places.

The landscape is captured perfectly and isn't over-edited. Everything in it's natural habitat and light.

I could literally feel the wind, and the breeze, blowing past the grass, how green the grass are, how blue the sky appeared. How beautiful and warm the sun must have felt. I could feel everything in the picture.

Another series of underwater shots, paired up with those flowing dress, it brings out the best in the pictures. We can see how the water flows freely because of the flowing dress. It gives me a feeling of them dancing underwater. Props like flowers, petals, and accessories makes the pictures even more amazing then it is. Props are actually quite a big part of photography. Imagine them changing their costume into jeans, t-shirts, without the petals, and flowers, the "feel" would be totally different.

Beth Mitchell

Stunning colours. Beautifully taken. Can you believe most of these shots are actually taken underwater? I can't believe it either. It's already not that easy to take beautiful and unique pictures on land already. But taken amazingly shot pictures underwater? It's yet another challenge!

And Beth Mitchell had done it. I certainly did "WOW" when i saw the shots. How much hard work does she actually have to put in each and every of the shots?

Like really, making an underwater shot appear like its an underwater dollhouse. It's really not that easy of a task. And its creativity level. I'm speechless for it. And the last picture really does reminds me of Alice In Wonderland.

Finally a landscape post. As you probably can see, i like pictures with a touch of fantasy. Who doesn't like fairytale? Even kids like fairytale ever since they were young. It's a true human instinct. At least for most of us.

So going for a fairytale "feel" in pictures never goes wrong. I like these because they doesn't look like normal landscapes pictures i saw. Almost all the skies in every pictures are of different color.

Normally for most places, the skies we see are normally just blue, or orange (during sunset and sunrise) And dark grey for cloudy days or at night.

Therefore, i find it impressive that he's able to capture the breathtaking scenery (and probably it even looks better in these pictures than the place actually looks in real life!) that's the beauty and magic of pictures isn't it?

David LaChapelle

The first feeling i got from looking at these pictures are "Sci-Fi" , "Fantasy" "Magnificent" "Bombarded with colours" It's pleasing to the eyes. The amazing thing about these pictures are the way they decorate the set, the model.

It makes their unique personality stands out a lot. It's bold. Its kinda similar to the way music videos are shot. With all the colourful backdrop and decorations, i believe every pictures took him lots of energy and time to set up to get the correct "feel" that he wants. Probably with lots of takes and trying out different style of edits to get what he wants.
